The red hot glow after the weld made me laugh, and I had to re-watch it.

I knew there was something missing in the other welding scenes I've watched .

Definitely a winner

Now, How to add a wisp of smoke?

Seeing through a welding mask is hard till the arc is struck. With a bright work light, you can barely see to start a weld, (just barely, but it helps) Maybe he needs a work lamp too?

Or a Chiropractor... for the sore neck from repeatedly head flipping his "bucket*" down all day.

(*welding mask)

OK, like I said, I tried 3 other sources before finding this on Micro-Mark,

83648 ARC WELDER CIRCUIT 1 $35.95

I went back there to look for it, and unfortunately it is not there any longer.

The instruction that came with the circuit board had an address of the manufacture:

http://www.heathcote-electronics.co.uk/scenic.html

I did modify the White LED to be brighter, but it should work fine as is.
