Greetings.  I am searching for a track plan to fit into a 20'x28' space; single level, shelf layout. (3 rail and dual track main).

I have been struggling to put ideas down on paper .... mental block?

I would like to feature modeling the WM from Cumberland to Elkins: loosely based.  Elkins would be the largest portion, featuring shops, RH, station.

I desire to have a massive coal mine, too.

Does anyone model the Wild Mary that would consider sharing advice & info on layout design, etc??????

Also, a few years ago the WM Historical Society released photocopies of blue print drawings featuring a Pacific K-2, heavyweight WM passenger car, caboose & lineside buildings.  I last saw them at the 2 Rail show in Strasburg last month but the seller was not at his table when I was there.

Thank you all for your consideration and time.

Hi,

Not knowing anything about the rr, this site was very useful. Maps, photos etc.

A nice map of the yard & shops at Elkins. Looks like you want the Thomas subdivision.

Many books, google photos and maps. some topo maps.

Try SCARM, it's free. Not too tough to learn. Let's you play.

Seems like it would fit nicely in a folded dogbone. here's something I slapped together in Atlas O using 099 outside and 090 inside.
