I've just completed the track work on my new subway line and now I'm on to the detail work. What do you use on your subway walls to make the station look like a station? Pictures would be helpful. Thanks guy's.

Chris, I used sheets of Evergreen tile.

I think the Evergreen tile is closer to what I'm looking for but I have used Brickyard software for walls like stone and brick. Charles Ro carries Evergreen styrene sheets I'll stop in and see what he has. Thanks For the suggestions guy's.

Couple of things that I am using on my different stations. The first is using Excel to make a subway tile pattern that I print out on card stock. Easy to work with and the most economical. Can even change some of the colors of tile if needed. Also have used the evergreen tile in the station stop that I am currently working on.

Looks great Bryan! The platforms are giving me some good idea's too.
Thank You! A very timely topic for me as my trolley line will be going below the surface briefly to serve the "Union City Underground Mall"
Joe,
I grew up in NYC and I must say that is a super job! My subways are primativein comparison!
I believe i used Evergreen tiles. The posters are originals found on the internet and then printed. Sorry for the less than good photography.

I went with a combination of Evergreen and this guy on E-bay. http://www.ebay.com/usr/gigles I'll take some pics later of the progress so far. No where near some of the excellent work you guy's posted but I'm still learning my subway's. Researching has been fun.

Both the evergreen & the plastruct work well. I built several stations and thought both look pretty good.

What is the best way to "glue" styrene sheet to flat knot free pine?
Thanks!

I have been using a spray adhesive from 3M. You spray it on the back of the piece and wait 3 or 4 minutes and press it on. It's been working very well for me.
I've used the 3M stuff, but really prefer plain old construction adhesive (Liquid Nails for Small Projects) that i get at the local True Value Hardware.

Thanks guys. do you think it will work with embossed brick? Worried there may not be a lot of contact as only the thin mortar lines will actually touch the wood.
Re. Contact area - exactly why i prefer construction adhesive. i found the 3M stuff over time (3 - 4 years in a humidity controlled basement) would lose its bonding strength, and stuff without 100% surface contact area would come unlaminated.

Jack...WOW!!! I gotta have it!!....How much???? Absolutely beautiful!!
