Ya'll did so good on the last "What is this?" I posted, I thought I'd try my luck one more time. This looks like either a grounding spring, maybe for a can motor? Or might be for a Pulmor??? Recognize it?

It is a ground spring for a Postwar diesel such as a Geep, Budd car, F3 (vertical motor).
Some people say it goes between the truck and the frame, others say it goes between the motor and the frame. Lionel's drawings weren't 100 percent consistent on this.

Thanks CW! I am now the proud owner of 5 of them! Sorta got tossed into the pile at the train show yesterday! I LOVE buying piles of parts, usually some real bargains in there - yesterday's pile included a brand new brush shell that fits my poor old worn-out 602 Seaboard type IIE motor - bought for spare change!!!
