What kind of steamer is this. It looks like a 4-8-4 Northern. Could it be a NYC Niagara?

Not an NYC Niagara, but the UP FEF-3 4-8-4 number 844.
It looks like it might be. On most Niagaras I think the white strip stopped at/was covered up by the elephant ears, but likely as not one or two had it like that, and the sand done looks to be a bit taller, but it could just be perspective. Interesting, though, isn't it? Those Niagaras were good locos - - - If MTH was going to offer a Niagara in its next volume, I would normally order it, being a sucker for elephant ears - - - but until they ship the five locomotives that I have been waiting for a long time, no other pre-orders . . .
Uh, Lee - Mr-paint-em-all-UP - it's a UP 4-8-4, of course. Probably the ever-modeled
844. Certainly not a Niagara. No real similarity at all, smoke lifters notwithstanding.
