It looks like it might be. On most Niagaras I think the white strip stopped at/was covered up by the elephant ears, but likely as not one or two had it like that, and the sand done looks to be a bit taller, but it could just be perspective. Interesting, though, isn't it? Those Niagaras were good locos - - - If MTH was going to offer a Niagara in its next volume, I would normally order it, being a sucker for elephant ears - - - but until they ship the five locomotives that I have been waiting for a long time, no other pre-orders . . .
