I have a pair of MPC B&O shells (8363/8364) with mounting points that look very similar to the later PW F3 shells. A single screw near the front and two tabs on the rear. Can the shells/chassis be swapped between MPC/later PW/LTI F3 engines?
Are any of the other shells and chassis swappable; FM, NW-2, GG-1, GP-9, EP-5, etc?

The FM, EP5, Post 1955 NW-2 shells, GP9/7 & Post 1955 Alco FA-2 will all be interchangeable between PW , MPC & early LTI. The F3 shells should also fit Post 1955. GG1 I'm not sure about, but I think the MPC one will work with LTI frames.
I'd also add that all postwar style F3s will accept the 1953 and up shells with the rear clips, even the 1948-1952 models that originally had the shells with the rear screws.
