What's teh difference in these MTH Lighting kits?

I am looking at the mth lighting kits for dummy units #50-1026 &#50-1027. I see one is for the Alco C628 and the other is for the sd402 sd90, etc. well I purchased the #50-1026 and it doesn't fit on my MTh sd40-2. I am wondering if the #50-1027 would? The issue is the plastic insulator in the #1026 kit. It doesn't seem to fit the sd40-2.

I would appreciate any help.

That is the primary difference. The Kits are specific to the type of pickup rollers and insulators that match the specific trucks on your dummy. G
