For the second time in my railroad career I've been told to stay put at home due to weather - anyone else stuck inside using the time for their layouts?
Certainly a long list of things I am working on today on the layout.

Yes, I had, and will have a wonderful train day and evening. When you have trains, who cares about the rain or snow.
I have never been told to stay home. The railroad tells us to try and make it in…lol
When we “try” to get into work and don’t make it, we get paid anyway…
I took off for personal business today. Finished business and got busy painting and decaling some Lackawanna and D&H projects…

Perk of the class 3 lifestyle. For that, Im happy to be away from the class 1 and class 2s I was with prior.
It was mentioned today and most jobs have been canceled for tomorrow but mechanical and carman still need to come in. At least I wouldn’t lose my overtime.
