OK,,,,,,,,,just where is "Chico"???????
51 is the Cardinal so, presumably “Chico” means Chicago. I’m guessing… 🤔

Well,,,,,,,,that's just ridiculous, in my opinion. Having lived in the western suburbs of Chicago since November 1971, I have NEVER, EVER heard ANYONE refer to Chicago as "Chico"! I've always heard "Chi-Town", which also seems to be the worldwide nickname for Chicago.
Now, for all those believing that Chicago is referred to as the "Windy City", because of the winter winds off Lake Michigan, such is incorrect. Chicago got its name as the "Windy City" as a result of all the political conventions held there, many, MANY years ago.
That is a fun trip. My buddy and I rode that train several years ago. Yes, those little sleeper rooms are small. Have fun.

Who cares where they are going. They are on a train and having fun.
It's also possible it was a typo or "spell wreck" changed it for him. Did you mean to type Winy vs Windy or was that just a typo?
Keep sending pictures prrhorseshoecurve!!! And I hope for darn sure you got pictures of that place which reflects your screen name!

Well, he thought enough to attempt to tell us where they were going.

Somehow, I doubt that. Remember that the name "Chico" is very famously related to the Santa Fe Railway.
Did you mean to type Winy vs Windy or was that just a typo?
Yes, "winy" was a typo that spellcheck didn't catch, and has now been corrected.

He’s going to Chicago. It’s just an auto correct fail.
He asked for advice back in the spring.

Enjoy the trip! I enjoyed the Cardinal and the Capitol Limited when we did our trip to Chicago in May.

Umm. Sorry but both the Cardinal and the Capitol Ltd. Do NOT ride the Ex PRR middle division or go over Horse Shoe Curve...
But as a consolation prize like Rice-A-Roni " the San Francisco Treat" here are some pics of the New River George...
