I posted my State of Maine cars on the Boxcar Sunday thread.

I had done some research into the cars. Here are some interesting facts

“The Bangor and Aroostook ordered 300 insulated boxcars”
“The cars were equipped with ventilators and charcoal stoves.”

To the questions; why weren’t the O gauge models equipped with exhaust stacks and ventilators?

Why wasn’t there a potato loader / unloader accessory?

I am not aware of how to distinguish an insulated boxcar from a normal boxcar.
