Hi guys! Tinman here. In the spring a young mans thoughts turn to.......In August, us slightly older folks start thinking about 3 rails again.....

Been busy working on getting resupplied and some new projects... Time to stir the pot again, purists...put your blinders on!  We are working on a new O22 style controller. Ever notice that at the train shows, lots of switches available but the controllers are missing in action? Wonder why?  Anyway we are getting close to going into production on a new style controller that will use illuminated LED push button switches and o course will include the advanced wiring at sensible lengths along with the new bootstraps. It will probably come stock for 2 switches but will be available for up to 8 switches, and  in kit forms for those guys with really big layouts. My layout has 34 switches and I am mounting all the switches on a piece of aluminum plate with a drawing of the layout on it. The switches of course are placed on the drawing appropriately to where the switches are.

Still looking for more track if you guys have some you want to get rid of..drop me an email tinman@tinman3rail.com.....

More later

And now for our new why in the world are you bothering with  venture...Everyone knows that O27 tracks, switches etc are all but worthless right? Well we will just see about that.  We have set up quite a complex method of reconditioning O27 tracks/switches/ etc. Our logic is we love the idea of producing things that are designed to last many lifetimes.

I hear from so many really cool guys that have and are rediscovering the hobby, that their dads and grandfathers we playing with 50 + years ago. We really get a kick out of working with these guys.

We have noticed however a problem with the track ends. When O27 tube ends get out of shape, they really get out of shape. Need to come up with a reasonably efficient way  of repairing these ends that are beyond help even from our track pliers. Too many pieces going into the fubar bucket.  Any ideas out there?

Wow! I can't believe I am anxious to get back in the saddle again!
