Can anyone tell me how to get a hold of the people who sell the YLBs? I have a need to contact them and my e-mail was sent back as delivery failure.
Here is the address I have: yourlastbattery@will-enterprises.com
Thanks for your help!

Are they the only ones that sell this YLB? I have one and the wires are way too short, and I wish to contact someone!
Doing some looking I see there is some sort of YLB with a 9 volt connector and I see only one wire. Is this possible? My Lionel Legacy older S-3s have a 9 volt battery with the typical connector. Is there now a YLB for real that connects to the 9 volt connector and you have just one wire to hook up to track power. This seems so much easier. Can someone explain?

Sure, since I designed it, I can explain. The ground comes through the battery connection, and it recognizes the difference between the traditional RailSounds 4, 5, 5,5, and 6.0 boards and the newer RS-Lite and works with both types of boards. There are other "solutions" that don't work with the RS-Lite boards but will kill the board.
You really do just connect the one wire to track power and plug the battery clip into the 9V battery cable from the sound card. If the wire is not long enough, it should be pretty simple to just splice a length of wire to the power wire.
The YLB comes in two styles, one has the traditional 9V battery clip, the other has the connector that connect to the newer RS-Lite board. The only reason for the second style is Lionel stopped including the battery cable with Legacy locomotives, and they are no longer available on the Lionel parts site. So I made a YLB with the plug for direct connection to the RS-Lite board.
Bingo: I opened up the tender of my other S3 and found that I had used the 9volt battery clip with the one wire and tied in the single wire to my track power.
So what I received was the wrong YLB and now it makes sense why I am having troubles. Thus I need to order the proper YLB as shown circled in your picture. Do you have the right part number, and then do I go back to Hennings or JW&A Electronic or yourself? Please advise so I may order the correct one; and I guess I can toss this incorrect version just in case......Thank you.
I just so happen to put one of those in a S-3 not to long ago. The S-3 is a special case with how everything is set up it will require more wire. From how you talk it sounds like you have the one with the JST plug on the end correct? There’s nothing wrong by with that just simply cut that end off and cut off the 9V connector end and reattach the wires. Be sure to keep red to red and black to black! Then get a piece of red wire to tie to the YLB center rail power, run it over the speaker baffle and tie it in with all the other center rail connections. This should be under a heat shrink with grey wires coming from the trucks and you should see some power wires headed to the RS lite board. Always check and double check that you have the right cluster of wires before soldering and letting out the magic smoke
Hope this helped
No reason to toss the Legacy model, just keep it as you're likely to run across a place where it can be used. Click the link for the one you are looking for.

Thanks for that info with what you did with your S-3. I do remember having to solder a longer wire that I put over the speaker baffle. And I have ordered the correct YLB and will keep the other YLB if I need for the newer wiring. Thanks!
