I've known and admired Angela for years, dating way back to the Yellow Hall days at York. She is as gregarious, talented, and enthusiastic a person as you'll ever meet. A true credit to the toy train hobby who does a splendid job of capturing and perpetuating treasured memories.

Thanks so much!! I really do try to paint the emotional attachments we have for these very special toy trains! My main focus is to make you feel good when you view the paintings. I like bringing back all these special memories. There have been moments when grown men have cried in my booth when a painting takes them back to a special memory. I am very moved when this happens.

It sure was nice to say hello to you at the York Meet and to admire your work. This was Elizabeth's first York Meet and she so admired your work. Every time we went by your booth, you were sure busy.

Angela, you will always be my favorite "train gal".  Ever since the first time you set up and showed your talents in the Purple Hall at York, I have been your "groupie". 

 

I loved doing the article on you in O Gauge Railroading and I am now thrilled that you are taking some steps into our Forum! I look forward to seeing you every time at the York and anywhere else I find you. 

 

Some time, Karen and I will have to go down to your humble abode again in Charlestown.  You and your husband were wonderful hosts!  Karen talks of returning to see you all the time!

Come to this Lionel Open House Event and meet with Lionel Licensed Artist and LCCA Member Angela Trotta Thomas.  Angela and her husband Bob will be there on Friday and Saturday Only.   LCCA members will be able to purchase a raffle ticket for an opportunity to win an original "LCCA 45 Years of Fun" Angela Trotta Thomas painting.  Drawing to be held July 25,  2015 at LCCA's 45th Annual Convention in Danvers MA(near Boston)

 

 

 

You would enjoy this display. The Christmas Putz in The Lutheran Home at Topton, PA, fills 560 square feet. This is one corner. It was built between 1909 and 1946 by Mrs. Ida Henry, Matron of The Lutheran Orphans' Home. It will be open Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Admission is free.
