A very rainy week in Houston!
When your train clubs move there meetings and swap meets around.
When you're waiting for a UP steam shop thread to spice up your life, instead of dreading it.
When work schedule gets so busy that you go days on end without logging on to the OGR Forum, (Well at least work pays for the trains !
It does not necessarily have to be a long week. In my case when it happens to me I call it a senior moment...Paul
Retirement leads to the eventual non-recognition of weeks, or even months, never mind days. I only know that it's Sunday occasionally because there's no mail. Every day's a holiday; there are no "weekends". There's always "tomorrow", so less and less gets done.
I don't miss work - heck, no - but sometimes I miss the...punctuation.
