Someone e-mailed an wanted to see all the Veranda Turbine vignettes. So, at the risk of leaving no doubt I am certifiable, here is the full set and the story they tell. Only about fifteen of these are still on the layout, although I have all that I have removed to make room for other things stored under the layout.

A followup picture of my family members' model houses, including a poorly taken one of my daughter's house which is split off to the side of the others.

Lordy, those are lovely scenes. Makes me feel like a kid in Logan, Utah in the 50s again.
Thanks.
A "face" that even my mother could love!!....the streamliner is coming off the turntable to go on its next journey....

You're just having the time of your life, ain'tcha, Lee? I love the story and the pictures.
I'm learning a lot and getting lots of ideas from all these wonderful posts! Thanks for sharing with us!
Here is one of my corners, still in work...There's research going on underneath the launch pad...

Whoa! This is just jaw dropping Lee. One day you're going to have to divulge your secret technique(s) for creating these amazing o scale figures!
Art, not to worry, it's just the Invisible Man out for a spin.

From my now demolished layout.
Pete,
Could we maybe just say "retired" instead of "demolished". Otherwise it's too painful to imagine the loss of that kind of artistic work.

As the morning sun rises, we see all of the power lined up with great consists of passenger cars ready to depart the train shed....one wonders where their journey will take them.....

Alan, as always, beautiful pictures. But by the looks of everything, I don't believe there's room for them to move anywhere.
Thanks Jon...I always appreciate your comments and your "likes"! In fact, what is not seen in the pictures is that in front of the train shed are yard tracks with each of the passenger sidings on the diverging side of the switches. In other words, the passenger yard begins in front of each of the passenger trains (locomotives) that you see in the pictures with each on its own siding going into the train shed (or exiting in this case).
Perhaps this picture shows better what I am talking about.... In this particular picture, there is a A-A set of Burlington E-units on the yard lead about to push some baggage cars down the lead which is temporarily fowled by the freight pulling the auto-carriers....

Thanks for the aerial photograph, Alan. I see the path now, but there seems to be an overwhelming amount of traffic on your railroad empire. Revenues must be great. Just teasing, of course. I amazed at the variety of vignettes your able to accommodate in your space. I must admit that the station and train shed is my favorite area of the layout. Although, I find plenty 'like' on your layout.
Hi Everyone - Here are some more photos from Patsburg and the Free State Junction Railway. The two snow photos are from a layout that I built last holiday season for a Music Academy where I teach trumpet. Thanks for the Likes of my former posts
