Memories of the old parking garage downtown.....

Always a dangerous place down there by the tracks:
Wonder if the blind guy is enjoying the checkers match?

Some action at the Farmer's Market. Local band playing music. My Lincoln Mark II got my nurse and I there. That's me in the wheelchair. (For real). That's a Bar Mills building with all the produce. I built the picnic tables.
Paul, that's neat the way you took advantage of that corner of your layout, and populated it as you did.
I can stand this as long as you can!
Very nice scene. Lots of depth!
TRK- The little kitty wasn't big enough to eat?
Leavingtracks-Alan, I swear I'm in the train shed!
gene maag-nice, where or how did you get the signage?
AG-Your shots are great!
Lee- Can't say enough good stuff about your tacky non-PC trailer court!
To everyone else-Some excellent work and clever ideas.
Can you imagine all the combined talent shown here on one layout, it would be fantastic!
Thanks so much Jon...I really appreciate the compliments and encouragement!!

Oil change is done!
Ag.
AG,
I really like the detail on the oil change photo. The mechanic looks very realistic.
Here are a few more: Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, if God don't take you, the devil must.
Grandma rocking while Grandpa tractoring
Labor Day weekend at the county park
Thanks to Menards, construction will begin shortly

Paul,
Is that your recently completed Idaho Hotel in the background of these last pictures? It looks good in place, and the scenery on your layout looks great!
Mike,
It looks like the farmers are having good crops this year in Shawmut Country. Your scenery looks great. Lots of realistic detail!
Cool photo! Reminds me of the Smithfield Street Bridge going from Downtown Pittsburgh to the Southside. Now you need a trolley track running down one side. It was a sight, cars and trucks, trolleys, and pedestrians.
It is late and as the city lights reflect on the side of the Surfliner coach, we wonder who will be boarding to travel during the dark of night....??
Alan
Time for the semi-annual fire inspection at the Regency Hotel....while the traffic on South Street is non-stop!!
Alan
Thanks again everyone for your kind remarks.
Mark Boyce-Good catch! Yes it is. I just put it there this morning to get a feel for where I want it. It will be in that general area, I'm just not sure exactly where. I'm waiting for my wife to give me her opinion. She has been a big help for me.
There is a reason I call it my Tacky Trailer Park . . . This remains the hit with visotrs and was one of the most fun things I've built. Old mattresses - a sure sign of decline and poor standards when just thrown in a scrap heap in "the front yard" - are made from paper towels.
