Can someone help me? The other night while using my z-4000 it quit putting out power on the left hand side. If you turn the handle up meter shows voltage but nothing is there and red light flashes. Right side is working fine.
Needs to go to a tech for repair. Sounds like it is shorting when power applied? If nothing is attached to that output side, the fault is internal. Can be repaired but needs to go to MTH or a tech who works on them.
Red light flashing would indicate a short has occurred. Disconnect the wires from that side of the transformer and power up. If this works you have a sort in the track connection.
