I have a Z 4000 that I bought second hand, that has no variable power on either side. There is no display either. I did attach a lamp holder with a bulb to both track outputs. Nothing. There is power output at both 10 and 14 volt accesory posts. When you turn on the power switch, you can hear what I think is a cooling fan running. I.t looks like brand new. Serial # 039811520 I'm in the Wellsboro PA area - anybody out this way able to repair these? Thanks!

Going to be tough, especially since MTH doesn't have parts. That was made in 98. So it is not brand new. You could open it and see if all the harnesses are installed internally. G

I have a Z 4000 that the line cord was connected backwards. The first clue was that the neutral side of the cord connected to the off on switch.

Does the breaker toggle switch on the back need resetting?
