There's a slim chance thay my wife and I may be in north Jersey house hunting due to a transfer right around then. I sent you an e-mail about 6 months ago asking about places to live. Her company doesn't move real fast, but lately things have started heating up again. If we are, I plan on being there. If we hear anything I'll let you know Ben.

Went last year and really enjoyed it.  Got to run my UP BSA 100th anniversary ES44AC which is too big for my layout.  I'll be there for sure this year.  Now I have to figure what will I bring to run.

Thanks for mentioning the METCA annual Banquet. Its Nov 3rd from 5 -10pm,at the NJ Hi-railers, a great meal, beverages,train running, table prizes and some nice prizes in the silent auction . $20 gets you in and includes some tickets for the silent auction. If you go to this one, you'll get to see Ben give a great speech since he is co-chair of this event as well. It will be a great night.

I really enjoyed myself last year and would be happy to come again this year.

Coming last year was my first "social" train event since moving back from San Diego where I used to go to the monthly AGTTA meetings. I actually knew the legendary AlanH.

AlanH is a pretty nice guy no matter what alot of people here say   He visited the club one time with his Mom and Dad   Real nice people

It is a little early to commit for sure, but, "barring unforeseen circumstances," I plan to be there. Looks like from Baltimore the rail way to get there is Amtrak to Trenton, then New Jersey Transit to Secaucus Jct, change trains there for Hawthorne. Hawthorne looks to be closer than the Patterson Station, correct?

Sounds like a great crew coming this year   We have to introduce the Muffin MAn and chocolate eclair to Cannoli.
