(02/09/22) New Flatcars with 1956 Trucks from Menards!

I may get the Texaco flat with wreaker on it.  Note that the decal is applied correctly!

I just ordered the Sunoco truck on flat, which with the free panel truck, gives me two more trucks for my soon to be built oil dealership.

Ordered the tow truck thanks I needed that!!

I just ordered all 4 from the dealer pack and saved some $  Looking forward to getting these!

Is the fire truck close to scale? I know it says 1/48, but it looks a little too small. I’m not a scale nut, as I like anything from 1/43-1/50, but I don’t want it to be close to 1/64. These look great though.

all 4 trucks are the same scale I have the wrecker and if its not 1/48 it close , way bigger than 1/64th

Thanks for the info. I have the Budweiser truck flat car and really like it.

I model the 1920's to the mid 1940's I just wish they fit my time line

If anyone gets any photos of these when they arrive, please share. I haven’t bought anything from Menards since 2018 and I may have an excuse to now.

It’s really nice, but I’ll probably wait until a Texaco, rea, or preferably the Sinclair lighted truck are the freebie.

Your Hershey’s Syrup tank car just arrived in the mail today, along with the freebie diecast. I must say I’m always impressed at the “bang for the buck” in your offerings. I have a couple of your M&Ms hoppers from a while back as well. (No, no theme…Why? 😂)

Please measure and post the width of the tanker by the rear axle, TIA. That will let me know the actual scale. of the truck

EDIT: The width posted on Menard's site is 10-1/2"L x 2-1/8"W x 3-1/2" H, but that is for the flatcar.

The tank truck is 1 7/8”, or 7 1/2 scale feet across the rear, Dave. (Close enough for me-I run everything from scale to 0-27)!
