1/48 Saturn V

Finished shroud.

With fins.

That will be about 8 ft tall when done. I have the Dragon 1/72 scale Saturn V at 5 ft and a very nice cutaway 1/100 model more manageable at 4’.

I’m curious whether you are building for its own sake or is it related to a layout in some fashion.

Long time ago K-Line released a set of 3 flat cars with NASA rockets parts. It said you could remove them and assemble it - to be around 3 feet tall! Here's some stock pics of the set (for sale individually; I still see these for sale on eBay):

It’s not 1/48 ,  it would be 7’ tall, but it is neat . And relatively inexpensive .

Just checked the catalog and it does say over 3 feet tall so yes, it's definitely NOT 1:48.
