I'm afraid to ask but how about a price or do we need to wait till tomorrow for that also? Looks like something I'm going to have to make a budget for.

Love it! Saw it advertised for 99.95 which I think is a great price! I also think I remember that along with the insane no. of leds also has 14 figures! Amazing!

I am going to buy this station. After all I said if Menards would come out with a new building I am in. But this is just so beyond cool. All the work I did to set the MTH station in I have to put the Menards station there and move the MTH to the basement layout..............Paul

Having Allentown and Lancaster on the window has me in as I grew up not far from either one.

I agree that this is a really nice looking structure.

If I modeled in standard gauge, I'd be looking to clear out some spot to buy and place one. But though it's way too big to justify for a narrow gauge layout, that doesn't mean I can't appreciate it anyway.

Looks to me like Menards' stuff just keeps getting more and more accurate with each release!

What was the Tweetsie's connection /interchange with standard gauge? No large station there?  (This does look like a large footprint)

How easy will it be to change the name of the station?

They were 3-rail from coal chute (just outside of Elizabethton heading into the valley) all the way to the SRR/Clinchfield interchange at Johnson City. But not way out in the sticks where the 3-footers ran. They had a long-ish (by narrow gauge standards) depot at Cranberry and sort-of long one at Elk Park, but nothing like the Menard's structure.

This station would look good on anyone's layout. Even a simple circle under the Christmas tree.  

Mark, any information on the real one that they modeled?  Where is/was it at?

I see what you are talking about now. It is available to be shipped to your home but not to a store.

Our tech team is looking into this and I hope it will be fixed shortly.

Mark, as Menards increases its volume of train stuff, you ought to consider how it's on the website.  A real PITA to scroll through 15 pages to see what's there.

Have a couple of stations already, too big, too bright, have to move things, all important things to consider and now, on the other hand, oops, already ordered.

I think the website is organized just fine.   Sure, if you want to see ALL the train items at once, there are a lot of pages to go thru.  However, for just O gauge, the largest item count would be 5 (4.6) pages for the flat cars, if you keep the default of 20 items per page. (there's 92 flat cars, currently)

Just use the filters to narrow down what you want to see.   Then choose best match, price low to high, price high to low, etc...  I find it one of the easier train sites to navigate if you use the readily available filters.

You should see some of the music gear sites that have tens of thousands of items for sale.   They break it down with filters, just as Menard's does.   example:

Using the side menu it is pretty easy to selectively navigate to just a few pages, "search" works also.

Looks like another home run! Now to find a spot...

Already thinking of substituting this station on my Christmas layout (which is my only layout) instead of the MTH station which I have usually. Just have to compare the footprint to make sure it fits! When you only have 4×5 to play with ,space is at a premium! Tree takes up space too! Dear wife gets surly when I suggest no tree, just trains! Go figure! LOL

So I went to my local store (Yorkville IL) and there was a open spot on the shelf with a label for the station.  I asked at the service desk, thinking it was possible that they marked a place to put it, but had not gotten them out of the stock room.  Service said that they had none in stock and had no plans to stock it.  They commented it's strange that they would label the shelf for it but not stock it.  Anyway, they special ordered one for me, it will be at my store in about a week.  

Hear that Mark???? Another O gauge building I am gunna have to try and S gauge-ify.

Ye gods! I need to sell some stations on the bay, no room.  I have to get this one, it will be the standard of small city/ country station there is out there. Good job Mark.

I can't tell you for sure. We drew some inspiration from real train stations and put a little imagination into it too.

Menards does not have stores in most of the USA.  Menard's shipping and handling costs are considerable.  Why doesn't Menards utilize existing model distributors, like Mario's and Trainworld, outside of areas they serve, until they put stores in that area?

I heard a dealer once tell his customers, it would make a great center piece, on your dining room table for Thanksgiving.

I am wondering why a mid-west store would choose that name. Could it be a hint they are coming east?
