Saskatchewan Wheat Pool Hoppers?
Oh my Gosh it is Christmas and Santa Claus. Canadian cars. Bless you Mark................Paul
CN Grain hoppers!
At first glance, The Anderson's seed came to mind...
That almost seems like too easy of a clue from Mark.
Usually Cabinet Bob is right there with information. It does seem like a easy clue. Wide open for interpretation now. Could we actually be getting a Cylindrical hopper. That would be awesome. If not I would be leaning toward the possibility of a four bay hopper with newly tooled hatches..........Paul
I was thinking of a nice Dreidel car, for Chanukah..... with a sound board playing the Dreidel song!!!
I'm not saying a word today. LOL ..jeez to late
Thank God! I thought either Bob or Menards went out of business! LOL
LOL I don't have to say anything, we had Christmas last weekend and I got the Menards Alaska coal car and tanker car! SO I'm happy!
Go out on a limb...
The hint was quite obvious.
I'm gonna say it isn't a car at all.
The Canadian Line, has not been expanded, with the exception of the helicopter flat. I would say , that we asked
for new product, this un may be the one: Yes, Cylindrical hoppers, from the famous Canadian Grain train. Instead of
pay out the waszoo, the the major mfgs. We may be able to add to our fleets with the Menards 4 bays. Who knows,
The Mth, 4 bay is the gold leaf, with red leaf on the right side
I'm still not saying a word.........
Hey Mark the Menards guy, Help a guy out! Bob can't speak!
Must be the 4 bay hopper. If so that is a winner IMO.
Bob can'take talk!! This offering, whatever it happens to be, is already a winner! LOL
Maybe they tooled a roof for their current coal hopper......much like Lionel did.....
I agree Jim, it would be very nice!
I have a confession to make. I bought the last Red Owl Grocery from the Sioux City store today. I went in hoping they would be out. WRONG! We had 3 or 4 in Sioux City.
Dick
Those are Canadian Wheat Board symbols for sure. I'm going with a grain hopper. I'd love it if they added a cylindrical hopper.
Have to ask, do these grain hoppers ever get over the border?
I have a K-line one I perchased because I like the delivery and will sit at my grain elevator with a SOO line one being switched by my MTK switcher (from my first Lionel train set) which will be in the Midwest 1955 town. My Menard's feed and seed will sit next to it.
Now to get building the lay-out.

We are onto to you. You already have yours. Menards ran a pipeline to your house.

Are you saying I have one already ? I'm still not saying a word.......
I just hope these new cars are priced right.
To redball 342
Canadian National brings some into Wisconsin once in awhile .
They normally are, I would tell you to ask Bob, but the cat has his tongue!

I see them in Manitowoc, WI regularly. They bring barley and wheat for the Breiss malting plant.
The CWB had boxcars too, and since Menards has the tooling for boxcars, that remains a real possibility.
The more mum Cabinet Bob becomes the more I think he has more then just this next offering sitting on his layout. I am thinking he is doing the checking out of the product for Menards as a product tester..............Paul
He may be Mark's father! Hmmmmm! But seriously my final guess on today's offering, a military caboose! The old misdirection play! LOL

wrong and wrong
You're right Bob,this whole thing is sooooo wrong!! LOL

Yes they do, though most of the ones I see are actually owned by Canadian Pacific now. I've seen many different variants, including the blue "Alberta" cars and even some of the green "Saskatchewan!" cars coming through my town in southeast Iowa. If Menards is going to start making cylindrical hoppers, they'll be a big hit!
