I received my new Lionel PRR Sharks with the DGLE single stripe scheme yesterday. So far I’m pretty impressed. Here’s a video.

Very nice looking sharks. Is that the Superbass or powered B unit?
The First A unit is powered w/ sound, the B unit has SuperBass sounds, and the second A unit is powered but no sound. All have smoke.
Look fabulous! (But way above my pay grade sadly.)
Thanks for your video, great looking PRR units, I am waiting for the Army sharks to arrive.
Awesome!
My SS sharks and the F.O.M. Spirit of St. Louis should be arriving tomorrow.
Rplst8,
They look great, great sounds and smoke but what impressed me was the reduced gap between the units. I used E8 dummy couplers on my CC TMC PRR Sharks to reduce the gap.

I received my Tuscan sharks yesterday and unboxed them today. I could hear something rattling in the one engine box and upon removing the one a unit I could hear multiple parts flying around inside the shell. After removing the shell the screws that hold the front motor to the frame had apparently never been tightened. The motor, screws and what I will call the universal joint were floating around inside the shell.

Sorry to hear that BradFish. This is a very common failure or quality issue. I’ve had three different Lionel F units arrive with the same issue. One from a Lionel dealer, and another from a tech who shall remain nameless.
