M.T.H. Releases Updated iOS DCS App, Android Version Coming Soon
December 27, 2023 – M.T.H. Electric Trains has released an updated iOS version of the DCS App that brings the app current for iPhones and iPads running iOS 13 or later. The update fixes bugs and improves functionality for all versions of the DCS app (Free, Standard, and Premium) and is NOW available in the Apple APP Store. In addition to the iOS version of the DCS App, a new Android version of the app is expected to arrive in the Google Play Store soon. Like the iOS version, the updated Android version will correct bugs and improve functionality for all DCS App versions running on Android devices. Unfortunately, a couple of bugs, including one that affects the creation of lashups, have been identified in the just-released iOS version that will necessitate a subsequent revision early next month. iOS users may not want to update their app (if they don't have auto-update enabled) until the revision is released in January. |
For those of you who have the 3.2.2 version and want to revert to the previous 3.2.1 version, this may provide a way to do just that: Revert iOS app
While we have never had a request to revert to an older version vs. just fix the bug right away, I'm going to see if one of my iOS gurus here at work can see if this works... hopefully yet today.
my email did not mention any thing other than what i copied and pasted,
sorry to all
Breaking news is often times Broken.
If they know there are bugs why promote it? Even with the disclaimer, it's still going to disappoint some users.
