Hey.....
Just talked with MTH and bought up what they had on hand in 2 rail trucks. Bettendorf and rollerbearing freight trucks and caboose trucks. Also have on back order (hopefully here soon) passenger trucks...lightweight, heavyweight, and the woodside 1890's daycoach trucks. Will try to get everything up on the web tonight. Also will try to get more Atlas 2 rail trucks up on the web, and we still have some K-line 2 rail trucks, but they are dwindling.
Im going to try to get a custom run of the 1890's daycoaches, cause they are gorgeous, and I should be able to get them done in 2 rail. The candidates for road names, so far, are Rock Island, DRGW, Great northern. Raritan River, santa Fe, Erie, Lackawanna, and unlettered. They will all be pullman green with black roofs. Unlettered is a for sure. the others...I wish I could do 10 sets of each, but MTH will probably only let me do 2 roads. It will probably be all coaches to start. Just to keep it simple. Personally, I'd like to do 3 car sets...combine and 2 coaches...but I think the ratio of coaches to combines should be 3 or 4 to 1.....2 to 1 is just too many combines.....imho. Anyway...opinions are welcome. If i had to pick 2 roads right now, it would be GN and Erie just cause those RR's covered a lot of territory. My personal favs' are RI and RR.
