2014 Lionel E-8/E-9's

Did you not pre-order that set?  If not (and you really want one), might be a good time to order one from one of the larger dealers who ordered "extra" pieces of BTO items.  

Charlie Ro still has them listed in their web store, showing an ETA of 11/10/2014, which would be consistent with Lionel's shipping schedule ETA of Oct 2014 (assuming they ship at the end of the month).

Yes, it would appear the last production run of E8/E9's was on the low side.
