2023 running "lights"

Put LED's there, they'll be a lot brighter.

Which ones will fit?  Number and source?

I  would think a 1.8mm LED from Evans would be perfect.

Here's what I did  on all my Alco sets (pics below):  I first put a 5mm Evan LED (WW) in a 3/4 inch brass tube behind the headlight lens. It's a real burner. Then I cut away the very front of the number board (just in front of the numbers) and Gooped in an Evan chip LED facing forward. See the results........

Forgot to mention......when you Dremel off the front of the number board, it's just the back of it so you don't effect the white circle at the front. You also have to trim off the back of the "marker lens" so the LED will fit behind it. It will light up the lens like it's a bulb.
