Bought a postwar 2340 a few weeks ago and it looked and ran very well at low voltage the first few times I ran it but after that I had to apply more and more voltage to keep it running until it stalled at the highest voltage setting. I took the cab off and the brushes, motor and truck gears were clean and intact and suspect something is binding in the trucks. The service manual suggests one of the magnets in the trucks may be loose and contacting the wheels. Would appreciate any suggestions.
