5 Norfolk Southern Trains, (NS SD60I, Seattle & North Coast Boxcar, New UP Autorack & Hobby Lobby Trailer) | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

This afternoon Monday February 4th, 2019 saw 5 NS trains in Rootstown Ohio.

Train 1: NS westbound freight 11K lead by NS Dash 9 #9961 & UP AC4400CW #6030. Note the Seattle & North Coast Boxcar.

Train 2: NS eastbound ethanol 64R lead by 3 NS Dash 9's #9294, #9838 & #9020.

Train 3: Train 3: NS eastbound autorack 18N lead by NS Dash 9 #9859. Note the Brand New UP Union Pacific autorack.

Train 4: NS eastbound freight either 16G, 34N or 14K lead by NS ES44AC #8160, NS Dash 9 #9204 & EMD NS SD60I #6758. Better get those 60I's, as I heard last week, that during this year most or all will eventually be put into storage.

Last Train 5: NS eastbound intermodal 24M lead by another 2 NS Dash 9's #9237 & #9938. Note the Hobby Lobby trailer in which there were 3 Hobby Lobby trailers, but I only took 1 photo.

Plus some bonus photos of the New Milford Railroad Crossing here in Rootstown.
