Has anyone tried both on cutting track and which one do you find easier for you.

I prefer the flex shaft because the tool you actually hold is the small diameter lightweight handle at the end of the shaft instead of the bulky Dremel tool itself. I find it much easier to control. Using fiberglass reinforced cutting disks with the flex tool lets you get nice vertical cuts in the rail.

HAve not found the dremel to be bulky and have no problems cutting Gargraves track. In just completing my second club build been through about 30 cases of gargraves. They both work well
Basically the tool is a s good as the hands its placed in
I use a flex shaft with a Gyro brand cut off wheel. It cuts through Gargraves track like a hot knife through butter.
...keep the rails polished...
