It is a rare day when one of these shows up for sale. The small looking Randall cars in the photos are 30 or 36" long.

Jim,
Now that's what MTH needs to reproduce.. More stunning than the Brute (just my opinion).

MTH/Lionel should make it using the proven, powerful twin-can motor drive of the standard gauge Hiawatha Hudson and the Commodore Vanderbilt!
Of course, the diecast shells of those two locos added to the tractive effort!
I'll take one!

I am in for one also. Hopefully in Blue Comet Colors. I wouldn’t mind it built in either drive system Lionel or proto MTH. They both could get the job done. I would prefer the MTH proto system in this hypothetical engine because of its bulletproof mechanical design. In my experiences I have had zero mechanical issues with the MTH system.
If it was built it would be a great addition to our layouts.
Lionel needs to build one using their chassis from the Hiawatha or Commodore Vanderbilt. Perhaps Mike could work something out with Jerry. Who knows where the dies are now.

I was thinking the same. They already have a chassis, all they would need is the dies for the body. That would be a substantial capital cost, but I think the final product would sell well enough to amortize the investment.
Count me in for at least one! That engine is spectacular to say the least!
