HI folks,

So I got a used TMCC controller and base but I'm confused about the instructions.  If I'm reading correctly, the base gets a power supply which is plugged into the wall and then it looks like a single wire goes to the middle rail on a piece of track.  I am assuming I still need to plug a power supply into the track just as I was doing before when running Lion Chief stuff.

Thanks for your help!

Roger

Roger, you do need a power supply to the track. but the most important thing (if Im reading your post right) do not hook up the signal wire from the command base to the middle rail!! that gets hooked up to the outside rail!....it goes like this....plug command base into wall outlet, run a single wire from command base to outside rail....then choose your transformer and hook it up to the track as you would for normal operation..ie; ZW, KW or similar then you can place command equipped locos on the track, power up the command base first, then raise your track voltage to 18V, and your command engines will instantly know they are on a command track.....hope that helps!...………...Pat
