Now I'm starting to put just light by woodland Scenics.
In my first tests I liked the system and is very practice for installation, but I don't liked the port sharing device because in sharing the leds become low light.
So I think that I'll use only Light Hub + Expansion Hub!
Now I already have:
1 - Auxiliar Switch; 3 Expansion Hub; 1 Light Hub and 2 port sharing port.

Leandro, So it seems you are saying the port sharing device doesn't provide full voltage to each light. Do the existing lights dim more every time another light is plugged into it?
Second, it seems you are seeing the full voltage is distributed to each light plugged into the Light Hub and Expansion Hub. Is that what you mean? I have never used the Woodland Scenics system.

Leandro, Yes that is how it goes. I worked in electronics my entire career, but got so frustrated with DCS, I considered getting rid of it. Then I got the hang of it and like it! Ha, ha!
I’m glad I found this, I’m about to start my next layout build. Just about the same 23x11. I’ll be watching your videos once I’m out of work.

Ah yes, I understand!! Our girls weren’t interested in video games and didn’t have phones back then, but they weren’t interested in trains either! 😄😄

Awesome progress! I never thought of the spray foam over cardboard lattice by the way. That's a clever trick! I haven't had the best experience with plaster cloth so that foam method definitely interests me.

I thought the foam was fantastic and very easy to mold once dry.
I have seen a couple folks use foam this week. The other used the cloth that is sold for gardening to keep weeds out. Both that or cardboard worked great

Take your time haha I won't be able to start on my layout construction for a month at the very minimum. Probably going to be longer than that.
