I certainly have almost made that mistake more than once.  I'm afraid I will someday.

I've had exactly that happen as both a seller and as a buyer.  It reminds us all that most people are good and only a few are trouble makers!   Glad it worked out well for you.

Sounds like a square deal   I.e., life as it should be; just enough interesting crap to wake you up and leave you grinning humbly 

It happen to me as a Ebay buyer, also.

I ending up sending the wrong LGB Train Catalog in german language to the correct buyer.

And the English language catalog I wanted was sent to me by the other buyer.

Seller payed the postage, Ahh... the good old days of Ebay, before scammers took over.

I  always process order one at a time so there is no chance of a switch.
