Your photo above really spoke to me on many levels as do your many thought provoking topics to share with the fellow members of this forum, what I perceive as your obvious love of our hobby. Your tag line below your signature, "In my little world, I leave this troubled world behind.", seems, to me, to sum up why I have returned to this great hobby with a renewed and passionate enthusiasm that I now have for it.
I have never had the pleasure of making your acquaintance in person. However, I feel I appreciate your thoughts, the musing reflections of a person who has chosen to pursue a profession that I imagine can be very stressful and possibly unpleasant if you let it, in the cause of seeking fair representation of persons facing the unfortunate, life shattering realities of divorce. You seem to have come to the enlightened realization that internalizing the stresses of your job will take a mental, emotional and physical toll on one's body and being. The outlet of the model railroading hobby is a great way to turn off the sometimes cruel "real" world, take that time to relax, unwind and take a trip back, in our mind to a time when your most pressing concern was to set up the train track on the floor and get the railroad running. This is the model railroad enthusiast's way to allow one's body and mind a hiatus from the stress of the day, relax re-tool, and be better prepared to perform the next day in their chosen profession.
You have become a good role model for me in life, a source of good mental and emotional balance. Bravo to you sir! Please continue to share with us your true love of this GREAT hobby we all we all passionately enjoy.
