Thanks Paul, I went to Menards when I was in North Dakota and the store there really didn't have anything. But I found these at a CENX gas station on one of our fuel ups! Thought they would look good on the layout and got them for $2.50 each!

That’s a great train gang, Wood!
Thank you Mark.
They all love operating the trains.
We are fortunate to have a large family and I am hoping we'll get a model train nut one day. LOL
FOR TODAY: Heard on WPBR News: "Patsburg Fire Dept extinguished a locomotive fire early this morning. Fire crews were quick to respond. No injures were reported. The locomotive came to a stop right as the track crossed Patsburg Ave. blocking traffic for over an hour. Fire Chief Bootjack Higgenbottom gave the all clear at 8:30 a.m."

Patrick, Outstanding scene and what a wonderful job on reporting on the fire and interview with the fire chief!
Trying to strike it rich, panning for gold.

@farmerjohn John, that must be one huge order! Sure, looks like you have everything needed to get the job done! I would love to have some of that equipment it all looks great! But wondering where you got the Wester Star dump truck?
@Sitka I wish them luck with their gold panning! But to be honest I think they would make more money working for John at the coal mine! LOL

Oh Magoo; You've done it again!! Looks great, Steve!
Beautiful sunrise on your intricate layout.
You guys sure put up some fabulous photos! I wish my scenery was that cool, and I know one I will get there. But till then I have all your great views of life to look forward to!
Farmer John, I've marveled at your coal mine before but that light truck is incredible. Looks like a custom build.
Patrick great photos and back stories as usual.
Don't worry Mike, even if never get to that level with your scenery, I know I never will, you'll have tons of fun trying.
Mike, Joe is right. I don’t know when I’ll get scenery to any point at all, but I enjoy my layout and I enjoy seeing everyone else’s!
FOR TODAY: Not even the middle of November yet and snow is falling in the Patsburg area. The ski trains are arriving full with folks bound for the slopes of Mt. Randolph and the Randolphian Mountain Range where ski resorts begin to thrive this time of year. Here we see a Western Maryland ski special arriving at Patsburg commuter station. The nose of a B&O F3, barely visible in the far left side of photo, heads a ski special from Pittsburgh. With the many passenger trains now traversing the rails of the FSJR, freight trains have been routed over the high line. .... just another day on the railroad!

I'm guessing it's a good thing the panning for gold is done in the shadows Mark. Looks like it could be on RR property.

Thanks Max! Yes indeed! Jazz! Duke Ellingon's Take the A Train might be most appropriate.
Thanks Coach Joe, Mike g, Wood, and Mark for your kind words!
Mark - just hop one of those Western Maryland or B&O ski specials and come to Patsburg! There are many great ski instructors in town After a few lessons you will be on the slopes in no time!
