FOR TODAY: B&O RPO car enroute.
The local train crew left a reefer from the local vineyard on the track aside of Bob's Country Store yesterday,...for some unknown reason, wine sales of the local brand last night went thru the roof... Bob was pleased afterall...!

Paul, that mid 60's Mercury wagon is really nice. Is that 1/43rd scale?

Dave, you have a good eye...it's a 1/43 '65 Mercury Colony Park wagon...dont' know for sure, but it must be a 400 cube V-8...
Fantastic, FarmerJohn!
I was going to contribute one of mine, but after admiring @farmerjohn 's beautiful images mine felt feeble in comparison.
Great images!

farmerjohn, your layout is absolutely incredible! I’m always amazed at the dedication and level of detail in your work.

Thanks guys for all the comments on some of my posts . This is not a competition on things. I just enjoy people enjoying trains as I do. I've enjoyed trains since I was a boy. My favorite memories was of the D265 lionel layout in a hardware store in Owensboro ky. All the layouts and ideas are fantastic and I've learned so much on this forum. I just enjoy trains but I really like it when other enjoy them also.l just try to recreat some of the scenes in my area and where I grew up . No competition just a love for trains.
sorry if my comment came out as me making it competitive. I merely was finding in my own way a way to complement beauty of farmer john's images. I'm kinda embarrassed that it turned out that way.
As for me feeling less than qualified to post an image, NAH. Didn't feel that way at all. Been on this forum since day 1 of it coming on-line so I'm very aware of what goes on here.
And just for the heck of it, I'll post an image From my 2022 Christmas layout

Hi guys here is my old layout! It is nothing compared to alot of folks here, but it's all about fun anyways!
On a side not if anyone gets an offer to go see @farmerjohn layout in person, DO IT! It is the most amazing layout that I have ever seen, and you better make time as I was there for a good part of a day and still wasn't able to take it all in! You walk in and your mind goes where do I start!

This is a 2-1/2 minute short film of a Williams PRR Sharknose pulling a fast freight around my layout. I try to make it cinematic. This loco has no sound, other than the non-cinematic sound of Fastrack on plywood, so I found a sweet tune to back it up.

Nice looking layout you had Mike, I didn’t really know (or remember) what it looked like. Thanks for sharing.

Mike, I recall seeing those colorful pics in the past...a great looking main street and the "Red Owl" is the best...love the vehicles too...!

I like those camera angles as the train makes its way through the scenery, John. I will have to try that.

Thank you, Mark. It takes longer to film and edit but it's a worthwhile investment in time, I think.

FOR TODAY: Several views of a locomotive taking on water. A C&O 0-8-0 takes on water from the tank. Fireman Dibby Flatso standing on the tender's rear deck, is about to pull the spout down to the tenders water hatch.

FOR TODAY: Switcher number 97 backs to the passenger train that just terminated at the commuter station. The road engine uncoupled from the train about 5 minutes ago. Number 97 will pull the train to the coach yard.
On the produce track workers are busy unloading a REA reefer of exotic fruits and vegetables. Otto the Santana's Produce truck driver leans against his truck. It seem that loading the truck is above his pay grade.

Otto's a Teamster in the drivers' local, a different local covers the warehouse workers!
