Removed it in 2009 due to spouses health issues and needing the room for a rehab facility. I moved down the hall to a 9x19 attic and built a 9x16 round-the-wall layout in Feb. 2010. But it has essentially lain dormant since I also developed a debilitating health issue right after I wired it and ran trains. Now trying to get up and going again.  Place is a mess(see below)IMG_2041!

Looks great, never mind the items on the table as it will get done when it is ready. This is therapy my freind, take your time and get out of reality and into you Train World for a while

Thanks for your comments regarding the attic layout guys. I'm old but too dumb and stubborn to give up.The real agony of demolition was in 2008 for taking down my 15 year old airborne operation in the kitchen of our mountain cottage in western N.C.. When I knew we had to move to access better Med facilities I had a fallback position with the upstairs layout at the Greensboro Condo. But alas square footage needs and health circumstances forced the tear down of it as already noted.

Great idea. Love it. Is he holding Fay Ray (the pretty blonde)?

Not anymore, not since he got caught up in the #MeToo scandal.  ;-)

Very, very funny! The thought occurred to me that mentioning Fay Ray might not be politically correct.

BTW, I am open about telling people that I do stereotype women: IMHO, by and large, they are superior creatures to us.

Add you know what, Arnold? They ARE! This is what I don't get about the whole thing.

Bridge%20Night

I took this last night at Cascade Locks, Oregon.

There's a train passing under the bridge on the North bank.

Gorgeous shot! Mind if I borrow it for my computer wallpaper? I love that area. The wife and I have stayed at the hotel just beneath that bridge and the  best times are when it's pouring rain and a UP consist thunders by!
