If you were a fan of my tour of the Imperial Train Company, this video is in the same mold, but not as well shot (I did not quite have as much time to do proper motion control).

Back in February 2021, I had the opportunity to visit Amtrak's new supplement to Penn Station on my way back to campus. Having visited the 'old' concourse in 2013, I would definitely qualify the new structure as an improvement; far airier, easier to navigate, and much less frenetic. The shops and cafes that litter the upper mezzanines were not yet open, so you will be treated to some interesting wall art. The station's two downsides are that the only non-cafe seating is in the ticketed passenger waiting lounge, which despite being spacious (and open to both LIRR/NJ Transit and Amtrak passengers) filled up fast, and that access to the platform can only be achieved through escalators or elevators, which I thought a very passive-aggressive way of controlling access (I like stairs).
