Thanks Gary @superwarp1. I looked it up after I posted, wrong way to do it. I do remember that upstairs looking out towards the turntable, they had a model of it and I believe a donation box. I put some money in that box for sure.

@Hot Water, could the lack of steam running there besides Baldwin 26 be more than just the superintendent? Sure there are a ton of steam locomotives there. Is there anything that is in close to working order? I know BB 4012 will never run again as that is what one of the volunteers said in 2018 when we were there. To your knowledge, is anything in shape to be in working order with the least amount of work? What percentage of work would remain is what I mean to get any locomotive in working order besides the Big Boy?

The group that was behind 3713.  The Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad Historical Society for years was the one doing the fundraising and I thought was in charge.  They don't seem to be anymore?  The website Project3713.com is no more.  The FB page hasn't been updated since 2021.  So if it's the National Park service that has taken over the project 100% I don't hold much hope.  We get all these other steam projects that have their act together, get the funding and actually get their projects done in our lifetime.  3713 not so much.

Every single steam locomotive at Steamtown, regardless of "present condition", would have to go through the complete FRA mandated 15 year recertification, which is time consuming and expensive in itself. Even if the running gear machinery would require limited rebuilding, the boiler work MUST be done in order ti be rectified under FRA regulations.

Yeah I kind of thought that would be the case. I was saying to my brother I didn't want to guess at a percentage because I figured that work to be done percentage would be more than 40-60%. Given what you have said though, I would say that percentage is probably higher considering all the guidelines that these engines would have to be changed to meet now.
