Just wanted to share this video BRIC TV did on us. They do media coverage on local Brooklyn stores.

Beautiful! Congrats.
Nicely done piece, with emphasis on the things that are at the core of this great hobby.
It's a nice video. It looks much more retail than when I last visited it some years ago and picked up some MTH red subway cars. It seemed more like a warehouse outlet as I recollect.
His Dad must have been there and in the tradition of the Brooklyn that I grew up in every third word started with an "F".
I've always found them to be very customer oriented. They would always remember your first name if it started with an "F".

Nice job guys.
Thanks!
Retired and now living in Orlando. Thanks for the memories. Really miss Train World (and Train land)
Trainworld has been a part of my own train collection/experience since I was a kid.....there were time when I could not afford to purchase a train but I would go there just to look at them....and imagine one day...."I want the engine"....approaching 60 I can now afford those trains I dreamed of....I do not remember Madison Hardware in Manhattan...TRAINWORLD was always the place I wanted to go to...on our family rides from Brooklyn to my aunts house in LI we passed TW on Sunrise highway.....I'd beg my Dad and Uncle to take us for a ride there which they did at times...once the store open on McDonald Ave under the El...I was hooked....being from Brooklyn I could get there on my own...either by train (how typical)...or better yet by bike......will never forget one of my 1st purchases...the 1979 Tootsie Roll car...sorry..no box.....but still one of my favorite cars and a memory I'll never forget....Great family business.....love you guys

That's funny. I forgot that the F Line takes you to the Brooklyn store. All these years I thought that he was using F bombs when he was probably just referring to the subway (elevated at that part).

Not sure if it was aimed at a family audience or not, but one customer's exclamation at 1:39 was pretty funny: "Wow, that's cool...son-of-a-b#@*%!"
