Good Afternoon...

I am in the process of staging for my 19x18 layout. It will be built in my lower basement. Having my electrician come in, I will have access after tapping in to a box from my wall that goes to my main basement of about 12-14 amps. My question is, will this be enough for the size of my layout? My other option is to run it all from my main breaker, but this will cost me a lot more. However want to do this the right way. Any thoughts?

No problem, remember that a 15A 120V household circuit is around 1800 watts! You have enough power for trains and some lights. Use LED lighting, that helps a lot.
