I have a CW80 transformer that is used to power various accessories. The fastrack uncouple track manual states Do Not Connect to CW80 accessory terminals. Does anyone know the reason for this? It also states the correct voltage of 10-12 volts.

Because of shared common. The problem is, some early CW80s have red posts common and then later CW80s have black posts common.
Since common should be black and outside rail- there are scenarios that lead to track with constant power from accessory power.

The CW with date coding 2006 & newer has the black posts common, so the FasTrack uncouple track can be used with the CW80 accessory terminals on these newer models. Another problem arises, though, that activation of the uncoupler sometimes puts the CW into "foldback" current limiting mode depending on the overall load on the transformer.

So much for offshore manufacturing.

It doesn't matter where it was built, it was a stateside design oversight.
