Before beginning this process, go to the site you want to link to and copy the “URL” of the site to your clipboard. “URL” stands for Universal Resource Locator, which is the “address” of the web site. It’s in the address bar of your browser. As an example, the URL of this forum is https://ogrforum.com.

Here's an example of how to make a link to the Google Home Page.

Follow the steps below and the result will be a working link, in my example it's the Google home page.
