In my subway module street scene, I have a vignette of a couple of people unloading some supplies for a deli. One of them is an African-American (see pic I included with this post). I'm kind of surprised that O scale figures leave a lot to be desired when it comes to fine detail, compared to other O scale detail parts. The facial characteristics of the African-American figure from Woodland Scenics are exaggerated to the point of caricature. I'm replacing it with another less exaggerated figure that I will paint the appropriate colors. Anybody have suggestions on what colors produce accurate African - American skin tones?
