Take a look at the 314AW wiring diagram in the Gilbert Factory Service Manual. The reverse unit is wired in parallel With the whistle system across the two tender pickups. Just substitute the power input wires for the Electronic reverse unit for those from the Gilbert unit. Note that the wiring diagram shows the tender chassis is used as one of the power pickup conductors rather than a wire. The factory Service Manual is online at myflyertrains.net.
