Very nice looking.
Beautiful engine Mike!!
Really good looking engine, Mike. I love the color yellow, so this is a winner for me.
I was very tempted to get this one! I ultimately decided I have to much stuff, but Wow! That's awesome looking! (esp if you are also a CAT fan).
Did anyone get the blue and black one?
Impressive! Thanks for the post... very tempting.
Awesome looking locomotive, Mike. Thanks for posting these pics. Enjoy it!

Martin, I am in the same boat. Big fan of CAT attempting to take the legend back to its former glory.
It looks spectacular Mike!! How does it sound?
There are still some out there, but if you want them with fixed pilots they're going to be hard to find. MTH's site says they're sold out. The hi-rail version is showing a few available. I got mine.
Who say this forum does not effect us!!! I am very tempted to get a scale wheeled one (Joe, you want those 20-2831-2's?? ). Did I read they have a black one too? any non powered CAT's???
Matt, where did you get yours from? you can email me if you wish...Cheers!

Awesome sound. Ear-splitting horn. The chipmunks in the garage were running for cover . (Matt, you agree??)

There's a blue one, too.... Nope, no non-powereds. We've seen the end of non-powered premier diesels like this.
We have two left of both versions, yellow and blue, at MrMuffin'sTrains.
Thanks.

I got it from Dave at Mercer Junction. The other demonstrator was Blue with black trim. I almost bought one of those, too.

Absolutely!
Enjoy! It looks real sharp!
Peter
For personal reasons I cancelled my pre-order with Legacy Station, Brian has a scale wheels version available if anyone is interested.
Sharp, I especially like the nose headlight, I really like how it looks on ACe's.
Awesome looking engine Mike!

I can't deal with him for personal reasons!
What hobby shops have the EMD SD70ACe model # 22-20429-2 in stock?
Regards,
Swafford
Why not try the MTH Product Locater?
Wow, she is a beauty!
Congrats and enjoy! MTH does such a nice job with their SD70ACE renditions!
Good news about the improved sound! The same thing was mentioned in the SD45T-2 review in another concurrent thread. Perhaps all PS3 releases are getting big sound!
I just received the new BNSF -2 (scale wheel) version of this SD70ACE. But I have too much stuff so I might sell it still sealed in the shipping container. Can I resist the temptation to unseal it and put it on the track to check out this awesome sound?

Stepping off the Isle of Denial for a few minutes, I'd say hang onto it. If it's the "Swoosh" scheme, which I "unofficially" find "tolerable" it would be a very nice addition to your stable.
Hey, what happened to Mr Muffin?
It looks so lonely there. I always thought they traveled in groups to protect each other from Isle of Denial repaint attacks. I mean, you wouldn't want it to end up like this, would you?
Just yanking your chain. . Seriously, if BNSF would do a heritage series, I would step down from my position as the self-appointed Information Minister of the Isle of Denial.
WOW--Is all I can say

Sorry, as I mistakenly said I had the 2007 issue pictured above when what I have is the brand new blue one, I deleted my post. Oops.
Mike, Great looking engine added to your collection. Also looks great on your layout. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, Carl. And thanks Brian, Peter, Chessie, Joe, Chris, Keith, Charlie and everyone else for your kind words.
Boy, I bet that would look sharp in "O"!!!
