I've been noticing that Hot Water has been absent from threads he's been part of in the past, so I checked his profile. Turns out, he hasn't even visited the forum since late March...so now I'm worried. Has anyone heard anything from him recently? Thanks!

A lot of his trains were auctioned a few months ago so he might be out of the model part of the hobby.

That is true. He had a few cabooses remaining that he put on our Sunset Models / Golden Gate Depot tables at Chicago in March to sell. Last we corresponded was yesterday and he is okay.

If he would tone down his acidic remarks, he'd be finer. Knowledgeable, yup, but he is as he is. Good to hear he's around.
He is one of those individuals who perhaps do not suffer foolish remarks or queries lightly, and perhaps he could have more patience, but who among us is without faults?
