I have the Lionel Polar Express Bipolar on pre-order - not due until December. I have a few Menards structures on my mainlines (not prototypical but I like to watch trains pass under structures) that have the pass-through feature, the Power Plant only has a 5" railhead to top of tunnel clearance. With pantographs in full-down position, my MTH Bipolar clears with about 1/4" to spare. Am wondering what the Lionel version comes in at. If anyone owns a first-run Lionel Bipolar, can you measure and give me the distance from top of railhead to top of pantographs? If necessary, I guess I'd build a base for the Power Plant out of some dimensional wood.

Thanks.
